I built my career in the world of marketing agencies, leading campaign development and client relationships for many UK and global brands. A fast paced, high-pressure environment that helped me hone and appreciate the importance of many valuable skills, from listening and emotional intelligence to problem solving, negotiation and team motivation. The going was often tough, but the Agency would always pull through, together. Above all else, I came to appreciate the value of a great organisation culture.

For the last 8 years, I have had the privilege to lead agency businesses. Globalisation, new tech, world events and the impact on the competitor landscape and employee expectations have all contributed to an environment where change in the agency business is constant. And planning for and implementing organisation change has been a central part of my leadership experience, from planning and launching new business propositions and championing new ways of working, to implementing business restructures and transforming the culture and fortunes of struggling agency businesses.  

I’ve learned that successful organisation change requires deep insight, detailed planning and exceptional team engagement. Change is challenging, but well worth the effort when you consider the positive outcomes that can be achieved for business, talent, and culture.
